While in New Zealand, my roommate and avid photographer Jim traded me one of his black and white rolls of film for one of my color rolls. I saved it for this trip in hope of being able to take some dramatic shots of the wildlife and scenery.
There are a couple of other random black and whites in this collection, but my favorites of the roll were the baobabs (more on them later) and the elephants. I'm not much of a photography geek, but I love how the black and white brings out the character in this old bull's face. I also like the sprig of elephant grass in the foreground and the lonely, blurry acacia in the background.
