Jim R. and Insulation
The house that we worked on (Dave's House) wasn't a new construction. It was a renovation. When we got there, only the frame was standing (with the insulation you see behind Jim's head).
The first thing that most of the people in the group did was start to put up the gib board (that's drywall to you and me). I didn't do that at the beginning (although I did spend an afternoon drywalling with Jean). Caryn and I (and Eric for a while) spent the first day and a half of work peeling, inch by sticky, recalcitrant inch, wallpaper off of the walls in Dave's room. More on that later.
